ENNEAGRAM WORKSHOPS WITH JUDITH SEARLE

THE ENNEAGRAM GOES TO THE MOVIES

Dates to be announced.

This one-day workshop is designed for newcomers as well as experienced Enneagram students. After a brief introduction to the Enneagram of Personality, Judith will explore Enneatype casting in films, using clips from Oscar-nominated performances to illustrate actors playing their home type.

Story genres are closely related to the worldviews of the nine types, and protagonists of these stories are often people of corresponding types. For example, the basic “Six” genre is the thriller, concerned with pursuer and pursued, ever-present danger and a strong sense of “us” versus “them.” Judith will discuss the correspondences between each of the Enneagram types and the story genre(s) related to that type, with examples from novels and films. There will be an interactive exercise exploring the kinds of stories we tell about ourselves and their relation to our Enneagram style.

    Cost: $100 (IEA members $90).
